WordPress Guide: Web Building Series for Beginners

Creating a website in WordPress can be a real pleasure. In the end, it’s not as complicated as it may seem at the beginning. In a series of interconnected pieces, I will attempt to break down WordPress. The goal is to enable you to build your own websites by the end of it. First, I’ll cover the fundamentals of the system, how WordPress works, and then we’ll tackle some more advanced tasks.

Each chapter will conclude with a simple quiz to easily assess your understanding of the topic. Additionally, there will be open comment sections under each topic. You can use them to discuss and address any issues you encounter while familiarizing yourself with WordPress.

Over time, you’ll gain basic knowledge of working with this content management system, reaching a level where you understand its various sections and components. If we make it to the end together, I believe you’ll be able to create your own websites and further develop them according to your requirements and needs.

How will the articles be structured?

Simply put, the entire article series is designed for people who have either never seen WordPress before or have minimal experience with it. Consequently, the articles will be written in a similar vein: simply, concisely, and clearly, without delving into more complex details that may be overwhelming at the moment. My goal is not to turn you into a web professional who can solve all PHP errors (yes, they can pop up on your website over time). Instead, my aim is to teach you how to work with WordPress and understand its principles. If you make a mistake during the process, you will at least know where to look or what to refer to.

All you need is the willingness to learn new things, and hopefully, the rest will become evident along the way. So let’s embark on this journey together.
